BOOKS by SIMON LEIGHTON-PORTER

Simon's passion for history, languages and archaeology came together to create Flora Kemble, Oxford University palaeographer and heroine of his first novel, The Seven Stars, a thriller that weaves a tale of deception and murder stretching from ancient Rome to the present day.
Simon's subsequent books are filled with mystery and intrigue,  the most recent being Bomber Boys,  a gripping ghost story.

A cracking story from a talented writer - Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 June 2015

As a writer of Bomber Command ghost stories myself ('Return Trip' and 'War Crime') I was delighted to find an example of this scarce genre by another author. Simon Leigh-Porter's background in the RAF shines through in the historical detail contained in the story. Not only does he know his stuff as an aviation writer but he has also, it would appear, done his homework on the many reported apparitions in and around the airfields of Bomber Command. It is a stroke of inspiration to bring together reports of ghostly airmen, strange lights, 40s music and lone bombers with the thread of a strong story line. The result, for readers of paranormal tales, is a spine-chilling tale that has the potential to be a classic.
It is great to discover a like-minded author, especially one with so much talent.
